Showtime’s Dexter Season 4 Review
Showtime has the show to die for, Dexter! Here is my review of the start of season 4 and with only 1 episode in so far it’s gripping and preludes to a nail biting, gasping, season for Dexter.
Episode 1:
Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is living the married life with Rita and his new baby son Harrison, who does not like sleep. Everything else pretty much picks up from season 3
Best part, we are introduced to the “Trinity Killer” played by one of the best actors out there, John Lithgow. A seemingly mild mannered Lithgow starts out with a sweet kill, creepy… very creepy! The cast better have their acting chops honed when they work with Lithgow, cause he is a scene stealer from what I’ve seen so far. And Special Agent Lundy is back to hunt down “Trinity”, however retired form the FBI but this is unfinished business for him and Dexter is nervous for some reason, hmmm.
The constantly yawning Dexter Morgan is so sleep deprived he crashes his car with a dead body in the back and body parts go flying all over the road. Next week the police show up and questions will be asked for sure, how will Dex get out of this one?
This show is popular for a reason, it’s good! With a soundtrack

I read Lindsay’s excellent books – Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter – some time ago, and when I heard that there was to be a series based on the books, I was extremely excited. So much so, in fact, that I feared disappointment merely because my standards were so high.
Dexter is really one of the few series that actually delievers. One of my friends says it should really overthrow Prison Break as the best series ever made. I actually agree .. What do you think guys?
