On a Clear Day in Hollywood
Rarely do we have a “clear” day here in Hollywood as its either marine layer or just some nasty smog or a mix of both that keeps the mountains, skyline and everything else hidden from the human eye. However, when we do get a glimpse of whats out there, its rather nice! A great place to go to on a clear day in Los Angeles is the Mulholland Lookout where you can get a view of Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles with the 101 freeway running right through it, the famous “Hollwood” sign, the Hollywood Bowl, and a far glimpse of the beach as well.

I’m sure there are other ways to go but that’s how I usually get there. They have one of those telescope thingies for a zoom in view too. Its only open in the day and they have a gate that keeps you out at night, well keeps your car out anyway. Its free, just thought I’d mention that since some things here have a price and they don’t even offer a bathroom.
We probably won’t ge to see a clear day for a while, since summer keeps everthing chocked up with smog. So be sure to take your visiting family there and wow them woth this view!
