Los Angeles Driving
Driving in Hollywood can be a challenge to say the least. You have to deal with distracted drivers who are eating, yakking on their cell phones, or too busy starring at their face in the rear view mirror. All this and still you must navigate around huge potholes, cyclists who have no fear, and there is always something that jumps out at you without warning!
You must have your wits about you when driving in Hollywood or anywhere in the Los Angeles vicinity whether it be day or night. Its no joke when people say that L.A. drivers are bad, and believe me, its not easy to pass the California drivers exam as there are a lot of “trick” questions (more on that later). So how do these people who obviously can not drive, get their CA license? Dunno…
Parking in Los Angeles is yet another factor as parking spaces are tight, very tight actually. But no matter where you park somebody who parks next to you has to be right up your ass! And read your signs as parking tickets are notorious for being an L.A. headache!
Some Most days driving in Los Angeles is a cross between being in a Nascar race and a demolition derby.
