Citywalk at Universal Studios
So the other day I went cruising around CityWalk at Universal Studios to just relax and get away for a bit. During the afternoon time its not too crowded and you can just get a pretzel or something to snack on and sit down, people watch, and just chill out. It’s in Universal City, CA near Studio City, CA and they are sometimes labeled as “Los Angeles” or “Hollywood”, so just to abort any confusion of the whereabouts in here.
Being inside the “free” part of Universal Studios is known as City Walk, it is a great get away with out having to pay anything except parking, but if your savvy you can get it validated and not have to pay. Or you can park near Ventura Blvd and walk up, besides I know we could all use the exercise and gives you an excuse to grab a tasty calorie ridden snack cause you already burned it off, right? hehe
There are a lot of shops there, mostly overpriced but what did you expect. They got a Saddle Ranch inside CityWalk that I hear is outstanding, although I have yet to grind down on some grub there.
The nightlife there is cranked to the max! Expect huge crowds on weekends and prepare yourself to have some fun or don’t go.
So if your tired of the traffic and seeing the same old thing everyday, go hang out there for a bit as you will see some interesting people of all walks of life, and most are friendly.
